Phuket
The Sea Angel Pier is one of the piers serving the popular destination of Phuket, as well as connecting many of the island destinations served by the Phi Phi Ferry. While road travel to the island is possible on its northern tip - just off the Thai mainland near Ao Phang-nga National Park - many tourists headed to and from Phuket and its neighboring Phi Phi destinations use the pier on the southern tip of the island.
The Sea Angel location is just east of Phuket Town, with its historic center. Old Phuket Town boasts the architecture and influence of the Chinese and Portuguese, especially along the famous Thalang Street. The old town has applied for status as a UNESCO world heritage site, and a visit to its museums, galleries, restaurants and more is just a short taxi ride from the pier.
The pier features a modern, well-lit and safe pavilion with an adjacent two-story building designed to help make your journey comfortable and pleasant. For travelers booked with Phi Phi Ferry, there are shuttle services from the nearby hotels in Phuket as well as those on Krabi, Ao Nang or Railay.
