Ranong Airport is a small airport that connects the town of Ranong in southern Thailand with the capital city of Bangkok. The airport is situated in a flat area near a mountain range and a highway. The airport has been operating since 1995 and can accommodate 300 passengers at a time. The airport has flights to Bangkok–Don Mueang by two low-cost airlines. The airport is about 23 km away from a guest house near a palace in Ranong.
