Departing Ao Nang
Arriving Koh Lipe
Koh Lipe sits near Thailand's southern maritime border and takes some effort to reach — but the combination of ferry and road we offer gets you there without needing to arrange pieces separately. Our service departs from Ao Nang Beach and Nopparat Thara Pier, with an early morning departure at 06:00 and a later option at 10:00. We run roughly three times a day through the season.
The journey and arrival
The combined road-and-ferry trip takes around five and a half hours — a significant travel day, but the destination justifies it. Koh Lipe is a small island with a big reputation for underwater life: the surrounding waters are considered among the best diving grounds in the region, with a diverse range of tropical fish and coral. You arrive at Beach Jetty, Koh Lipe's main landing point, and the island's sandy lanes and beachfront guesthouses are moments away.
Fares start from THB 1,051. Travel time is subject to conditions — the route covers a long stretch of the southern Andaman coast, and services typically run from October to May when seas permit.
