Ferry to Phuket

Ao Nang sits on the Krabi coast with its own piers at Ao Nang Beach and Nopparat Thara Pier. From there, our combined services cross to Phuket, arriving at Rassada Pier or Chalong Pier depending on which route you choose. With close to 400 departures a day in season, connecting these two busy destinations is straightforward from early morning onwards.

The journey in practice

Most services from Ao Nang operate as a combined ferry and transfer — a practical, comfortable arrangement that handles the sea crossing and any onward road leg in a single ticket. The Andaman crossing is at its smoothest during the dry months from November through April, when morning departures offer the best conditions and give you the afternoon to settle into Phuket.

Fares start from around THB 361. The first departures from Nopparat Thara Pier leave before 06:00, so if you need an early connection to catch an onward flight from Phuket, options are there. Book ahead in December and January when both Ao Nang and Phuket are at their busiest.
