Ao Nang to Railay Beach Boat Transfer
We run the short boat crossing from Ao Nang to Railay Beach every day, carrying you across the bay to one of Krabi's most dramatic settings — towering limestone cliffs on all sides and no roads in or out. The crossing takes around 20 minutes, and you can board at Ao Nang Beach or Nopparat Thara Pier.

Departing Ao Nang
Arriving Railay
Railay can only be reached by water, and our boats make the short hop across the bay in around 20 minutes. It's a straightforward crossing — open-bow longtail or transfer boat depending on the service — but the view as you round the headland and the cliffs come into frame makes it a trip worth savouring slowly.
Where you board and where you land
We depart from Ao Nang Beach and Nopparat Thara Pier on Ao Nang's main stretch. Both are easy to find and within walking distance of most guesthouses. Boats arrive at Railay pier, from where the beaches, viewpoints and climbing walls are all on foot. The first crossing leaves at 08:00, with services running through the day.
Fares start from THB 360. The crossing is calm in the dry season (roughly November through April); during the monsoon months the sea can be rougher and some crossings are weather-dependent. Wear footwear you don't mind getting wet — longtail landings typically require wading in the shallows.
