Chumphon to Koh Samui Ferry — Gulf Crossing

We sail between Chumphon and Koh Samui across the Gulf of Thailand, linking the mainland province to Thailand's best-known resort island. The crossing takes around 5.5 hours, so this is a leisurely overnight-style day on the water rather than a quick hop. Fares start from THB 1,000.

Ferry to Koh Samui

Our Chumphon to Koh Samui service crosses a meaningful stretch of the Gulf of Thailand, and at around 5 to 6 hours it is one of the longer crossings we operate. We depart from several access points in Chumphon — including Pak Nam Chumphon, Tha Yang Pier, and Thung Makham Noi Pier — as well as Chumphon Bus Terminal and Train Station for passengers arriving by road or rail.

Arrival on Koh Samui

Depending on the service you choose, we arrive at Bangrak Pier, Mae Nam Pier, or Nathon Pier on Koh Samui's north and west shores. All three are well connected to the island's main towns, beaches and resorts.

We operate two departures a day, with early sailings at 06:00 and 09:00. The calmer Gulf conditions of the November-to-April season make for the most comfortable crossing, though we sail year-round. Fares start from THB 1,000. Bring something to read and enjoy the open water.
