Arriving Hua Hin
Leaving Samui for Hua Hin means travelling back up the Gulf coast, and there is a real choice of how. By air the journey is about 70 minutes. Overland, a ferry off the island is followed by a coach, van or private car north — slower, considerably cheaper, and on a single ticket throughout.
Piers, pick-ups and drop-offs
Ferries leave from Nathon, Mae Nam and Bangrak Pier. In Hua Hin, services set down at the bus station, the Clock Tower or Colonnade Mall, all central enough to walk or take a short ride to most hotels.
