Arriving Koh Yao Noi
Koh Yao Noi sits in the heart of Phang Nga Bay, surrounded by the limestone karsts that make this stretch of the Andaman one of the most photographed coastlines in the world. Our ferry covers the distance in around 40 minutes, a short crossing that feels longer thanks to the scenery around you as you head east from Phuket.
Departure piers and where you arrive
We sail from several departure points on Phuket, including Rassada Pier, Chalong Pier, and the Numchai pier near Cape Panwa. On Koh Yao Noi, boats arrive at Bang Rong Pier, Manoh Pier, or Thadan Pier depending on the service. Departures currently run in the afternoon — around 13:00 and 15:00 — so plan your morning on Phuket accordingly.
Fares start from THB 400. Koh Yao Noi has no large resorts or busy nightlife, which is exactly the point — the island moves at its own pace, with fishing villages, rubber plantations and clear bay water. The dry season (November through April) gives the calmest conditions for the crossing.
