Railay to Ao Nang Ferry — Short Andaman Crossing
We connect Railay — the clifftop peninsula that can only be reached by sea — to Ao Nang by ferry, a crossing of around 20 minutes across open Andaman water. Several departures a day, with fares from THB 360, make it the natural way to move between this dramatic limestone headland and the Ao Nang beachfront.

Departing Railay
Arriving Ao Nang
Railay's defining feature is that no road reaches it. Our boats leave from Railay pier and make the short hop across to either Ao Nang Beach or Nopparat Thara Pier, both of which put you directly in the heart of Ao Nang's hotels, restaurants and onward transport links. The crossing takes around 20 minutes on the fastest service.
Departures and conditions
We run roughly four departures a day, with morning boats from 09:30 and late-morning boats from 11:10 among the options. Two operators sail this route, so there's a reasonable spread of timings through the day. Conditions are calmest in the morning and during the dry season from November to April.
Fares start from THB 360. It's a short but spectacular crossing — the towering karst cliffs of Railay stay visible behind you as you head out into open water, and the Ao Nang beach strip comes into view quickly. Keep bags away from the bow spray on choppier days.
