Ferry to Phuket

Railay's cliff-framed isolation is what makes it special, but it does mean every departure starts on the water. Our boats leave from Railay and head out through the limestone karst channels of Krabi bay before making for Phuket. Depending on the service, you arrive at Chalong Pier, Rassada Pier, or another Phuket landing point — each giving you straightforward access to the island's taxi and transfer network.

Planning your crossing

Departures run through the morning and into the afternoon, with sample start times from 07:00 and a good spread until mid-afternoon — roughly 61 services a day across all options. The sea between Krabi and Phuket is generally calmer in the November-to-April dry season; during the southwest monsoon (May–October) conditions can be rougher, so early departures are preferable.

Fares start from THB 732. Some services include a van leg on the Phuket side, getting you to Montree Road or another central point without a separate taxi. Pack your valuables in a waterproof bag and allow time for the longtail across Railay Bay before boarding.
